Eugenia Constantinou
Dr. Eugenia Constantinou holds six degrees, five degrees in theology including Master of Theology degree from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology and Harvard Divinity School, specializing in New Testament and early Christianity. Her final degree was a Ph.D. from Université Laval where she wrote her doctoral dissertation on the Apocalypse in the Ancient Church of the East. She also holds a Juris Doctorate degree in 1985 from Pepperdine University School of Law and worked as an attorney in her previous life. Dr. Constantinou has been teaching biblical studies and early Christianity at graduate schools of theology and universities for decades. She is well known as “Dr. Jeannie” in the Orthodox world and hosts a weekly internet bible study podcast, “Search the Scriptures LIVE!” on Ancient Faith Radio. She is also the author of numerous articles and four books. Her most recent book which combines her knowledge of the New Testament, Roman law and culture, first century Judaism and early Christianity is The Crucifixion of the King of Glory: The Amazing History and Sublime Mystery of the Passion, published by Ancient Faith Press in 2022.
