This May, we invite you to join us for our Revolution Retreat — three remarkable days immersed in the birthplace of the American Revolution in the year of America’s SuperCentennial. From May 11th through May 14th, we will gather in Lexington, Massachusetts, steps from the very ground where the first shots of liberty were fired. Together, we will explore pivotal Revolutionary moments, visit iconic historic sites, and engage with leading scholars whose insights bring this era to life.
Over the course of the retreat, attendees will enjoy lectures and conversations with distinguished intellectuals on figures such as Paul Revere, John Adams, and George Washington, as well as guided visits to the Lexington and Concord battlefields — including the famed “shot heard ’round the world” along Battle Road Trail. Our time together will also include curated tours of major Revolutionary War locations in Boston.
All guests will receive an advance copy of Eric Metaxas’s forthcoming book, REVOLUTION: The Birth of the Greatest Nation in the History of the World — nearly three weeks before its official release — and will be among the very first to hear Eric speak about the book in depth.
Our home for the retreat will be The Inn at Hastings Park, a beautifully restored historic property that we have rented out in its entirety for a fully private Socrates in the City experience. With just twenty-two guest rooms, the Inn offers an intimate setting ideally suited to deep discussion, reflection, and fellowship.
The total cost of the retreat is $3,250 per person for a standard room and $4,000 per person for a suite, based on double occupancy. This includes your three-night stay, exceptional meals, private tours, and all lectures and conversations with our guest speakers.
A $1,500 deposit is required to secure your spot, with the remaining balance due March 1st. Given the limited number of rooms and the anticipated level of interest, we encourage you to reserve your place as soon as possible. If you are registering for two individuals, please remember to submit two separate deposits to secure both spots and then two separate remainder payments.
