Event Details

This July, we invite you to join us for our second Socrates in Oxford retreat — four extraordinary days in one of the world’s most storied intellectual capitals. Together, we will explore Oxford’s rich history, visit iconic sites, and engage in unforgettable conversations with leading thinkers, all while staying at the legendary Randolph Hotel in the heart of the city. Designed for a small group, this retreat offers rare access, deep fellowship, and the kind of thoughtful exploration that is at the heart of Socrates in the City.
As always, the retreat is built around the Socratic spirit of inquiry: examining life’s most enduring questions through philosophy, theology, culture, and history. Attendees will participate in live interviews and lectures — all filmed in broadcast quality — alongside private tours, exceptional meals, and time to connect personally with Eric Metaxas and fellow participants.
The total cost of the retreat is $6,000 per person for double occupancy and $7,000 for single occupancy. This includes your four night stay at the beautifully appointed Randolph Hotel, exquisite meals, private tours, and all interviews and lectures with our distinguished guest speakers.
A $2,500 deposit is required to secure your spot, with the remaining balance due May 1st. Given the high level of interest and due to limited availability, we encourage you to sign up at your earliest convenience. If you’re registering for two individuals, please remember to submit two separate deposits to secure both spots.
We are especially delighted to share that Dr. John Lennox is confirmed to join us — one of Oxford’s most beloved and brilliant voices, whose clarity, wisdom, and generosity of spirit embody everything Socrates in the City hopes to offer. Our full roster of speakers will be announced shortly.
