We are delighted to welcome you to the D.C. Socrates Book Club, hosted by friends in our nation’s capital.
Our current selection is REVOLUTION: The Birth of the Greatest Nation in the History of the World, Eric Metaxas’ sweeping new work exploring the extraordinary events, ideas, and providential figures that gave rise to the American experiment.
We will be meeting on July 15th at 6pm; club members will gather in Washington, D.C. and receive a complimentary advanced copy of the book at the event. Together we’ll read aloud excerpts and share the kind of conversations Socrates in the City is known for: asking life’s biggest questions with humor and even, perhaps, a bit of fun. All we ask is that you show up!
After the main discussion, stick around for lite bites and cocktails, and time to connect. To gather together with a group of thoughtful, like-minded people and wrestle with the deeper questions of life, God, history, and other “small topics” is what this community is all about.
If you have any questions, please email info@socratesinthecity.com.
