We have moved locations for this meeting! The new address is: Grace and Mercy Foundation: 888 Seventh Avenue, 21st Fl, New York, NY 10106.
If you have registered, you will receive an email from the Grace and Mercy Foundation with a QR code for entry.
We’ll kick off the new year with Thomas Paine’s Common Sense, the 47-page pamphlet from 1775–1776 advocating independence from Great Britain. Join us as we read aloud together and explore the ideas that helped shape a nation.
The next meeting is January 13th at 6pm; club members will meet and receive a complimentary copy of the book. Together we’ll read and share the kind of conversations Socrates in the City is known for: asking life’s biggest questions with humor and even, perhaps, a bit of fun. All we ask is that you show up!
After the main discussion, stick around for lite bites and cocktails, and time to connect. To gather together with a group of thoughtful, like-minded people and wrestle with the deeper questions of life, God, and other “small topics” is what this community is all about.
So, whether you’re new to Socrates in the City, or have been with us from the beginning, this is your opportunity to dive deeper with meaningful conversations and lasting connections.
